I’m Anthony Lewis, an NYC-based event filmmaker, photographer, and independent journalist with a passion for documenting culture, community, and the people within those communities who make New York City extraordinary.

My work focuses on cultural events, parades, festivals, fashion, journalism, and documentary filmmaking. Through photography, film, and interviews, I capture the energy, traditions, and unique identities of the diverse communities that shape New York City.

As a first-generation American with Caribbean roots, I have a deep appreciation for the immigrant communities whose culture, creativity, resilience, and contributions have helped shape New York City and the nation. My goal is to highlight their voices, document their experiences, and celebrate the traditions they preserve and pass down through generations.

From the vibrant streets of NYC’s cultural parades to the creativity of its fashion scene, I strive to capture authentic moments while exploring the history, people, and significance behind the events I cover.

Through Sharpshooter Media, I aim to create meaningful visual journalism and documentaries that celebrate cultural identity, bring communities together, and preserve the stories of the people who make New York City one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world.
